No other school in the region has a problem with it, when GC is not the #1 seed we hear NOTHING about this like the way the GC folk cry and whine and complain.

The Region D principals vote for it, so your principal was involved in the process.

Its downright laughable that GC fans cry this much over having to play at UVAW, but when basketball season rolls around, NOBODY on here cries about having to go to play at VHS.

Basketball is just as important as football, no matter how much you want to fight it. If the top seeds dont get to host basketball, why should football be any different?

Oh, I know why. because GREAT CITY wants it that way. TOO ****IN BAD!! How bout that?

and i am from Powell Valley, the only team that can say in the 8 years we've beaten you just like youve beaten us. its not about jealousy like you Great City folk always think it is.

Clintwood was the #1 seed, they did not ***** and whine and moan and complain at all.
You know why? Because CW has class, dignity, and maturity. Three qualities GC has never shown when it comes to dealing with other schools.

With all the mess at GC, there is no way you should try and condemn UVAW. There is as much visitor seating at GC as their is at UVAW, because the GC fans think its funny to sit behind the opposing bench and cuss at HS kids and make fun of mentally challenged people.
Nobody is whinning about anything. Leb was more talented and they won the game. Gate City overacheived all year. But they won the games they needed to win to be the #1 seed. And IMO if you do that you should be able to play at home. That goes for PV, Leb, whoever. This isn't basketball. This is football. It isn't the same as much as you would like to think that it is.

And hell Gate City would have been the #1 seed in basketball most years in this decade. So I really don't know why you keep talking about basketball.

It comes down to one thing. Does the seeding process mean anything? Not in this region. Not IMO. I mean the biggest advantage from being a #1 seed would be home field. That is no longer the case. So does the regular season mean anything anymore? Not much after you feel like you have made it in. IMO that is a bad thing. You may not feel that way. That is fine.

But the argument is legit. You might not agree but I would say the reason you don't agree is because you aren't going to be the #1 seed most years. At least that is the way it looks.

I do know there are going to be less votes for this. I don't know if there is going to enough to change it. But there is no doubt it takes away any advantage the higher seed had. Those kids won real games on the field to be the #1 seed. You can call me what you want classless, whatever. But to me those games should mean something.....
